1. Venir a la oficina parroquial por lo menos 2 meses antes para apartar fecha de bautizo y presentar toda la siguiente documentación.
2. Llenar la forma de registro para bautizo
3. Copia de acta de nacimiento de su hijo/a que tenga menos de siete años.
4. Después de que se aparte la fecha el mismo mes que vayan a bautizar se les contactará para que tomen las pláticas pre-bautismales. Es importante como parte de la preparación para el sacramento que todos tomen las clases pre-bautismales en Santa Clara. Si es que los padres y/o padrinos vienen fuera de la ciudad se les pedirá comprobante de asistencia de clases de preparación de Bautizo para apartar fecha.
5. Puede tener un solo padrino, pero si son dos padrinos, tienen que ser un hombre y una mujer. Los padrinos deben tener mínimo los 16 años de edad.
6. Los padrinos deben haber recibido los sacramentos de iniciación (bautismo, primera comunión y confirmación) y vivir una vida de fe. Si están casados, deben presentar acta de matrimonio por la Iglesia Católica. Si es soltero, no debe convivir, (vivir juntos) y presentar acta de confirmación.

Baptism Checklist

1. Come to the parish office at least 2 months in advance to set a baptism date and present all of the following documentation.

2. Fill out the baptism registration form.

3. Copy of the birth certificate of your child that must be less than seven years old.

4. Once the date is set, you will be contacted the same month of the baptism to take our pre-baptismal classes. It is important as part of the preparation for the sacrament that everyone takes pre-baptismal classes at Santa Clara. If parents and/or godparents are from out of town they must present proof of attendance at Baptism preparation classes to set aside the date of baptism.

5. You can have only one godparent, but if there are two godparents, they must be a male and female. Godparents must be at least 16 years of age.

6. Godparents must have received the sacraments of initiation (baptism, first communion and confirmation) and live a life of faith. If married, you must present their marriage certificate from the Catholic Church. If single, must not be cohabitating (live together) and present their confirmation certificate.
